About

TherapistModelSpeakerPodcast HostCreative Director

Luis Cornejo is a Queer, first-generation Guatemalan-Mexican American therapist, model, and creative who believes in the power of visibility, healing, and unapologetic self-expression. As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and Certified Sex Therapist, Luis works at the intersection of mental health and liberation, specializing in work with LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities. He’s also the co-owner of PsychoSocial Therapy, a private practice rooted in culturally-affirming care, pleasure, and authenticity.

But Luis’s work doesn’t stop at the therapy room. He’s also a proud model, speaker, and the founder of Queer Magic Entertainment LLC, where he blends his love for fashion, media, and mental health to inspire others to live boldly and creatively. Through his Styling & Photoshoot Packages, Luis helps people tap into their power and see themselves through a new lens, literally! Whether you’re an artist, entrepreneur, or simply ready to show up for yourself, these sessions are designed to honor who you are and how you want to be seen.

Luis has walked the runway for brands like Urban Native Era, Jordan Joel, and Paulo Silva, and has collaborated with designers from L.A. to Mexico. His modeling work isn’t about fitting into a box—it’s about breaking the mold and expanding what beauty and representation can look like.

He also hosts the Queer Magic Podcast, a space where he interviews artists, healers, changemakers, and everyday folks about identity, joy, healing, and what it means to take up space. It’s raw, real, and rooted in community.

As a speaker and advocate, Luis brings his voice and lived experience to panels, conferences, and campaigns—pushing for equity, inclusion, and mental health access. Whether he’s consulting for fashion brands, speaking at universities, or helping someone find their light in front of a camera, Luis leads with heart and intention.

Everything he does, from therapy to fashion, is guided by one mission: to create space for people to feel seen, celebrated, and empowered to be exactly who they are.

Let’s work together.

Whether you’re looking for a therapist, a model, a creative collaborator, or a powerful voice for your next event—Luis brings lived experience, expertise, and a whole lot of soul to every project.

PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS

Jordan Joel Fashion Show, 2022

In celebration of PRIDE 2022, I walked the Jordan Joel Fashion Show in a custom piece. Jordan Joel is a San Francisco based fashion designer who brings a fresh new take on street wear.

The piece I wore is not part of Jordan's ready to wear collection and is a one of a kind piece. The show specifically centered on Queer and/or BIPOC models. You can see my walk down the runway in this short clip!

Urban Native Era Fashion Show, 2024

Urban Native Era (UNE) started in November 2012 in San Jose, CA by Joey Montoya (Lipan Apache) who wanted to increase the visibility of Indigenous Peoples through social media.

He began taking photos and videos of the ‘Idle No More’ movement and posted them online.

By May 2013, Urban Native Era released its first set of shirts intended to draw in a broader audience.

Today, UNE crafts minimal yet powerful designs to create timeless garments.

Made for everyone.

This was Urban Native Era's First Fashion Show.

Equality Fashion Week

About: We are a movement and we believe fashion should be inclusive for all genders and bodies. We celebrate diversity, visibility, and economic empowerment for the LGBTQIA+ community and we want YOU to join us in inspiring change!

Our Mission

  • To celebrate and raise support for the LGBTQ+ community through intersecting the art of fashion, beauty, education and entertainment
  • To showcase LGBTQ+ talent who typically lack visibility, and provide needed access, resources and equitable pay
  • To build economic empowerment for LGBTQ+ small businesses and local community organizations through our market events
  • To educate and create a safe space for learning for both our queer siblings and allies
  • To leverage allyship to create not only opportunity and support, but to inspire unity in community.

I walked for two designers, Paulo Silva and Bad Burro.
